Fillings for your Teeth

Fillings (inlays/onlays)

After decay and old filling material is removed: An optical image is acquired with a small 3D camera, directly in your mouth. The restoration is created in office on the screen using the image data. The individually manufactured ceramic will be fitted exactly. Depending on the severity, the whole procedure will last between one and a half to two hours. This type of restoration is more conservative - saving more of the natural tooth structure. It has no mercury or any metals in it. It is a specially formulated porcelain that is cosmetic, strong and guaranteed.

Cerec method

For more heavily compromised teeth, a traditional treatment has been a crown restoration, which can take several separate appointments. Using the CEREC method, crown restoration is completed in a single appointment. No impressions, no temporary crowns-no need for a second injection. A treatment time of one and a half to two hours is normal.
